Header images

These are set by adding items to the ‘intro images’ panel at the top of each page, and ordered by dragging into position as required. Each image will be cropped to a 3 x 2 proportion and should be at least 750px x 500px for uploading. The internal pages each have 4 images, with the Home page using 3 for greater size and impact.

Home page – section images

The four linked panels correspond to the Featured Image for their relevant pages (set in the right hand column of each admin page). These are automatically cropped into a square, so choose or rework  images with strong central content.

Section pages

The ‘Page intro’ sections at the top of the pages are to give a quick overview of the benefits you offer you offer your clients.

The content uses shortcodes (predefined styling elements set within squared bracket tags) to define the page layout

– [section-thumb] contains the sections thumbnails on the left (added by ‘Add Media’ which automatically selects sets ‘medium’ size and then formats the image size in the page)
– [section-copy] contains the page copy on the right

NOTE: for shortcodes, content needs to be added directly after the opening shortcode tag as line breaks after are carried on into the page.

– [section-copy]This is the right way[/section-copy]
– [section-copy]
This is the wrong way[/section-copy]

Multiple images in any particular shortcode display vertically one above the other.

Voice over artists

Each artist is set in the ‘Voiceover artists’ menu tab, with sections for their photo, mp3 file and a short bio (mp3 files are uploaded the same way as images). The Voice Artists page is set to display a certain number of artists (currently 16), ordered by dragging their entry in the Voiceover artists > all items list.

Videos

Mp4 files are automatically recognised as a videos, and can be inserted into the page the same way as an image. they are set to automatically resize on the page.

Captions use the vid_caption shortcode to add an italicised caption, ie [vid-caption]This is a video caption[/vid-caption].

The poster image (the still image that shows in the player before playing) is set by default as the first frame, but this can be overridden by –
1) Adding a new image to the media library
2) Clicking on the video file to display the edit button (Pencil icon), then clicking the edit button
3) Adding a Poster Image from the menu selection on the left, then clicking ‘Update’.

Page headlines, taglines + calls to action

These are set in the page’s Custom Fields panel.

The default headline for each page is its name, but to override this (ie Home) use the ‘page-headline’ custom field. This is in the Custom Field panel, underneath the main text editor and SEO panels – if not showing, enable via the ‘Screen Options’ drop down tab at the top right of page).

For the tagline, similarly select ‘tag-line’.

Calls to action use the ‘cta-head’ and ‘cta-copy’ custom fields. These can be selected from the ‘Add New Custom Field’ if they are not already filled, and if nothing has been written we default to the heading and copy set in the Home page’s custom field.

Header/footer contact details

The Phone, email and Twitter for both header and footer are all set in the Home page Custom Fields panel.
